OTHER: Waco Biker Gathering Shoot-Out of May 17, 2015 ****************************************************************************************************************************************************** The fight between Bandidos, Cossacks, and allies with many as five rival biker gangs started at the Twin Peaks restaurant in Waco on a Sunday last May 2015 resulting in the deaths of 9 with 18 injured. Earlier reports mentioned the gangs' names, apparently those that told reporters since reporters did not want to offend anyone. To the utter shame and scandal of CNN, they reported that one of the gangs was fictitious,"Black Widows" which reveals how they check out their stories, as in poorly. Or perhaps they are just older IDIOTS who never watched a Clint Eastwood movie. ****************************************************************************************************************************************************** Reasons range from Bandidos wanting $100 per club for "Texas Rocker rights", to turf or territory, and revenge for grudge injuries and/or the killing of 41-year-old Ghost Rider MC member named Geoffrey Brady. The parking lot soon became a shootout zone between the gang members who had "gone after either more ammunition or guns kept in a member's car "just in case." It would have been almost impossible to secure these items on motorcycles so logically and possibly one member of each gang drove a car which contained ammunition and weapons since police estimate that weapons of many varieties numbered about 300. Some gang members had concealed weapons such as guns, knives, clubs or chains. Over 100 weapons were gathered by police. The old "knife to a gunfight" maxim becomes apparent. ****************************************************************************************************************************************************** Juan Carlos Garcia, Drew King, and James Harris were released after paying $50,000 bond (putting up $500 cash) rather than the $1 million ordered for all the suspects (which was $100,000 cash). Although two were quickly re-arrested, a third is remains "at large" like a certain female politician who SMILES A LOT indicating to the initiated that she is UP TO SOMETHING which she is since since she feels so gosh darned ENTITLED after waiting 7 years on Obama. and getting SCHLONGED. ****************************************************************************************************************************************************** One of the three reportedly escaped with body armor under his vest or "cut" (colors). ****************************************************************************************************************************************************** UPDATE: James Harris, 42, of Turlock, allegedly drove a motorcycle from a Glenwood Avenue business and headed south out of Turlock. Turlock Police Sgt. Stephen Webb related how officers attempting to apprehend Harris lost sight of the motorcycle somewhere in the area of Bradbury and Griffith roads. Officers eventually discovered the motorcycle abandoned alongside the roadway, with some items of clothing. When officers searched the area they found not only the stolen motorcycle, but also Harris who had climbed a tree like Zacchaeus had biblically climbed up a sycamore fig tree. Harris was arrested for "auto" theft or "theft of a motor vehicle". He sports a large star tattoo over his Adam's apple. Further details were not in the article. Although up to 192 were announced as involved, jail records reveal that a Waco judge placed a $1 million bond on a number of the approximately 170 suspects involved in the Twin Peaks establishment biker gang shooting. ****************************************************************************************************************************************************** All the defendants were charged possibly under the Rico Act for taking part in organized crime linked to one or more capital murder cases. All told, nine bikers were killed and an "extra" corpse was mistakenly included, that apparently had been added in error due to the same time frame and general area. Eventually official statements eliminated William Anderson, who had been included by mistake. ****************************************************************************************************************************************************** Allegedly "suppressed evidence" has made it very difficult for determination of "who shot who" since a biker or two may have used rifles or perhaps pistols requiring rifle-type ammunition, which is possible but highly unlikely. Toward the end of the incident, police may have shot one or more bikers utilizing different weapons. Ordinarily the autopsy retrieves bullets facilitating the determination and assisting in ascertaining just exactly "who shot who". The fact that police used only .223 calibre rifles could mean that as many as four bikers were killed by police during the bloody melee. ****************************************************************************************************************************************************** Ballistics reports and hours of audio and footage and hundreds of documents reveal that four of the dead and at least one of the wounded were shot by .223-caliber rifles. Further contributing to confusion was the fact that two of the four dead were wounded by .223 but the other two were shot by other kinds of guns also. A variety of other guns killed the remaining people listed in ballistics reports. No doubt, coroners' determinations will decide which bullets actually were fatal and which only wounded. Besides the Waco Police, ATF agents and all other law-enforcement officials responding to the scene used .223 but it is possible that bikers may have had a rifle or two or powerful handguns that use .223 ammunition since quite a few Chinese made AK-47s have been marketed across the USA. ****************************************************************************************************************************************************** Weapons involved were all captured and confiscated for evidence, even the officers involved, so that test firings could make ballistic reports assisting in the re-inactment. The nine murdered persons are: Richard Matthew "Chain" Jordan, III, 31; Jesus Delgado Rodriguez, 65; Charles Wayne "Dog" Russell, 46; Daniel Raymond "Diesel" Boyett, 44; Wayne Lee "Sidetrack" Campbell, 43; Jacob Lee Rhyne, 39; Richard Vincent "Bear" Kirschner, Jr., 47.; Manuel Issac Rodriguez, 40; and Matthew Mark Smith, 27. The only unaffiliated "biker" was Jesus Delgado Rodriguez, 65, who apparently had no "colors" that would serve to identify him with a "biker club". ****************************************************************************************************************************************************** Most likely a biker following the case noticed that “the indictments charge at least some of the defendants with murder and assault rather than just the original charge of engaging in organized criminal activity. He mentioned this in November 16 of 2015, in a blog called,"The Aging Rebel". The blogger opened with the fact that McLennan County grand jury had indicted 106 people in just under ten hours in the week before November 16 and had used fill in the blanks indictments very similar, if not identical, to the fill in the blanks criminal complaints used to arrest the defendants initially on May 17. The aging rebel mentioned that defendants were described as having used various weapons such as “knife and/or club and/or whip and/or handgun” etc. The unindividualized nature of the indictments and the rapidity with which the indictments were returned seemed to indicate that prosecutors Abelino “Abel” Reyna, Michael Jarrett and Amanda Dillon saw the indictments as a pro forma OK of legal convention rather than a genuine attempt to separate criminal actors from people who were only bystanders. ****************************************************************************************************************************************************** Not necessarily ALL the bikers participated as that would have made "activity" very crowded and at least a few may have "hit the floor", "ducked for cover" and did not "look up" until all the "activity" had ceased. After all, Twin Peaks is a large area like McArthur Park so not being armed and having no intention of participating MAY have been an option that SOME chose to just "duck and cover". Logically, some bikers, Twin Peaks personnel and bystanders who just happened to be there, did just that. It appears that Texas will have one less “breastaurant” that allegedly advertised hot waitresses and cold beer. Nevertheless, "the aging rebel" cites that numerous persons were "capriciously selected from a pool of potential inductees" including someone going to another restaurant and guys who were simply standing in the parking lot and said to be 100 yards from the disturbance near the Twin Peaks restaurant last May 17 were also indicted. Not having been CLOSED - Columbine is still open, but was closed for renovations after the massacre on, April 20, 1999 and reopened for the 1999-2000 school year. The science classroom where Coach Dave Sanders was murdered was completely de-walled and renovated, and the cafeteria/commons which had earlier been completely renovated in 1995 in seniors Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold's freshman year, and hallways as well. ***************************************************************************************************************** The school district was planning to renovate the library where most of the massacre took place, but the families of the community and of the slain and injured organuzed an organization called HOPE and raised enough money and awareness for the school district to demolish the library and build a separate one next to the school's field on the south side of the school. Where the library once stood is presently an atrium (garden) with 13 pillars, representing the 13 lives of the slain that day, Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold's. The new library is completely different so that the students were not to be visually reminded of what happened on April 20th. Witnesses describe more surveillance cameras throughout the school. The Columbine Rebel mascot trophy case had a musket inside prior to the massacre which was removed and the mascot was changed to be a Revolutionry War Rebel named Crispus Attucks holding a writing feather and a parchment. ***************************************************************************************************************** http://www.hopecolumbine.org OTHER: Waco Biker Gathering Shoot-Out of May 17, 2015 The fight between Bandidos, Cossacks, and allies with many as five rival biker gangs started at the Twin Peaks restaurant in Waco on a Sunday last May 2015 resulting in the deaths of 9 with 18 injured. Earlier reports mentioned the gangs' names, apparantly those that told reporters since reporters did not want to offend anyone. To the utter shame and scandal of CNN, they reported that one of the gangs was ficticious,"Black Widows" which reveals how they check out their stories, as in poorly. Reasons range from Bandidos wanting $100 per club for "Texas Rocker rights", to turf or territory, and revenge for grudge injuries and/or the killing of 41-year-old Ghost Rider MC member named Geoffrey Brady. The parking lot soon became a shootout zone between the gang members who had "gone after either more ammunition or guns kept in a member's car "just in case." It would have been almost impossible to secure these items on motorcycles so logically possibly one member of each gang drove a car which contained ammunition and weapons since police estimate that weapons of many varieties numbered about 300. Some gang members had concealed weapons such as guns, knives, clubs or chains. Over 100 weapons were gathered by police. The old "knife to a gunfight" maxim becomes apparent. Juan Carlos Garcia, Drew King, and James Harris were released after paying $50,000 bond (putting up $500 cash) rather than the $1 million ordered for all the suspects (which was $100,000 cash). Although two were quickly re-arrested, a third is remains "at large" like a politician. One of the three reportedly escaped with body armor under his vest or "cut" (colors). UPDATE: James Harris, 42, of Turlock, allegedly drove a motorcycle from a Glenwood Avenue business and headed south out of Turlock. Turlock Police Sgt. Stephen Webb related how officers attempting to apprehend Harris lost sight of the motorcycle somewhere in the area of Bradbury and Griffith roads. Officers eventually discovered the motorcycle abandoned alongside the roadway, with some items of clothing. When officers searched the area they found not only the stolen motorcycle, but also Harris who had climbed a tree like Zacchaeus had biblically climbed up a sycamore fig tree. Harris was arrested for "auto" theft or "theft of a motor vehicle". He sports a large star tattoo over his Adam's apple. Further details were not in the article. Although up to 192 were announced as involved, jail records reveal that a Waco judge placed a $1 million bond on a number of the approximately 170 suspects involved in the Twin Peaks espablishment biker gang shooting. All the defendants are charged possibly under the Rico Act for taking part in organized crime linked to one or more capital murder cases. All told, nine bikers were killed and an "extra" corpse was mistakenly included, that apparently had been added in error due to the same time frame and general area. Eventually official statements eliminated William Anderson, who had been included by mistake. Allegedly "suppressed evidence" has made it very difficult for determination of "who shot who" sine a biker or two may have used rifles or perhaps pistols requiring rifle-type ammunition. Toward the end of the incident, police may have shot one or more bikers utilizing different weapons. Ordinarily the autopsy retrieves bullets facilitating the determination and assisting in ascertaining just exactly "who shot who". The fact that police used only .223 calibre rifles could mean that as many as four bikers were killed by police during the bloody melee. Ballistics reports and hours of audio and footage and hundreds of documents reveal that four of the dead and at least one of the wounded were shot by .223-caliber rifles. Further contributing to confusion was the fact that two of the four dead were wounded by .223 but the other two were shot by other kinds of guns also. A variety of other guns killed the remaining people listed in ballistics reports. No doubt, coroners' determinations will decide which bullets actually were fatal and which only wounded. Besides the Waco Police, ATF agents and all other law-enforcement officials responding to the scene used .223 but it is possible that bikers may have had a rifle or two or powerful handguns that use .223 ammunition. Weapons involved were all captured and confiscated for evidence, even the officers involved, so that test firings could make ballistic reports assisting in the re-inactment. The nine murdered persons are: Richard Matthew "Chain" Jordan, III, 31; Jesus Delgado Rodriguez, 65; Charles Wayne "Dog" Russell, 46; Daniel Raymond "Diesel" Boyett, 44; Wayne Lee "Sidetrack" Campbell, 43; Jacob Lee Rhyne, 39; Richard Vincent "Bear" Kirschner, Jr., 47.; Manuel Issac Rodriguez, 40; and Matthew Mark Smith, 27. The only unaffiliated "biker" was Jesus Delgado Rodriguez, 65, who apparently had no "colors" that would serve to identify him with a "biker club". A biker following the case noticed that “the indictments charge at least some of the defendants with murder and assault rather than just the original charge of engaging in organized criminal activity. He mentioned this in November 16, of 2015, in a blog called,"The Aging Rebel". The blogger opened with the fact that McLennan County grand jury had indicted 106 people in just under ten hours in the week before November 16 and had used fill in the blanks indictments very similar, if not identical, to the fill in the blanks criminal complaints used to arrest the defendants initially on May 17. The aging rebel mentioned that defendants were described as having used various weapons such as “knife and/or club and/or whip and/or handgun” etc. The unindividualized nature of the indictments and the rapidity with which the indictments were returned seemed to indicate that prosecutors Abelino “Abel” Reyna, Michael Jarrett and Amanda Dillon saw the indictments as a pro forma OK of legal convention rather than a genuine attempt to separate criminal actors from people who were only bystanders. Not necessarily ALL the bikers participated as that would have made "activity" very crowded and at least a few may have "hit the floor", "ducked for cover" and did not "look up" until all the "activity" had ceased. After all, Twin Peaks is a large area like McArthur Park so not being armed and having no intention of participating MAY have been an option that SOME chose to just "duck and cover". Logically, some bikers, Twin Peaks personnel and bystanders who just happened to be there, did just that. It appears that Texas will have one less “breastaurant” that allegedly advertised hot waitresses and cold beer. Nevertheless, "the aging rebel" cites that numerous persons were "capriciously selected from a pool of potential indictees" including someone going to another restaurant and guys who were simply standing in the parking lot and said to be 100 yards from the disturbance near the Twin Peaks restaurant last May 17 were also indicted. This has sparked all sorts of speculative questions. And at least ONE lawyer is "blaming the police". No mention was made of that "Waco Incident" of long ago but somehow police officers of other cities were mentioned who probably had no idea that that Waco Twin Peaks Incident even happened as they have their own cases to ponder. More than one blogger has "thanked G_d that he did not become a police officer" as this is a "tough row to hoe". Movies like "Chappy" and "RoboCop" and even TV shows like "Blue Bloods" have appeared yet the general population apparently thinks that police have an "easy job" and "don't do nothing." As for this blog -- an endorsement of "The Thin Blue Line" is in order despite alleged mishandling although $1 million bail for 170 people does appear excessive and several individuals claim to be "innocent", which is a "standard over-used line". Some other recorded incidents are: Great Nordic Biker War Milperra massacre Quebec Biker war River Run Riot Shedden massacre CNN substituted "Black Widows Biker Gang" for "Cosaks" (sic) Cossacks. The "BWBG" was a ficticious biker gang from Clint Eastwood's movie,"Every Which Way But Loose". The Left and Progressives fresh out of just causes since 1900 or so, routinely give absolute righteous moral authority to grieving victims to favor their hidden or obvious political agenda.  Their agitprop is often manipulative and exploitive and irrational, but it works.  As appeals to facts and reason are not enough anymore for influencing the general population, persuading the public often incorporates sob stories as emotional appeals.  Following this logic, conservatives must promote people whose personal sad or tragic stories that offer counter-narratives to liberals' tragic sob story parade of victimhood. This open letter to President Obama from a Columbine survivor is a must-read, not only for the points it makes, but because of its author's personal history.


    Mr. President, As a student who was shot and wounded during the Columbine massacre, I have a few thoughts on the current gun debate. In regards to your gun control initiatives: 

    Ban on Military-Style Assault Weapons

    The evidence is very clear pertaining to the inadequacies of the assault weapons ban. It had little to no effect when it was in place from 1994 until 2004. It was during this time that I personally witnessed two fellow students murder twelve of my classmates and one teacher. The assault weapons ban did not deter these two murderers, nor did the other thirty-something laws that they broke. Gun ownership is at an all time high. And although tragedies like Columbine and Newtown are exploited by ideologues and special-interest lobbying groups, crime is at an all time low. The people have spoken. Gun store shelves have been emptied. Gun shows are breaking attendance records. Gun manufacturers are sold out and back ordered. Shortages on ammo and firearms are countrywide. The American people have spoken and are telling you that our Second Amendment shall not be infringed.

    10-Round Limit for Magazines

    Virginia Tech was the site of the deadliest school shooting in U.S. history. Seung-Hui Cho used two of the smallest caliber hand guns manufactured and a handful of ten round magazines. There are no substantial facts that prove that limited magazines would make any difference at all. Second, this is just another law that endangers law-abiding citizens. I’ve heard you ask, “why does someone need 30 bullets to kill a deer?” Let me ask you this: Why would you prefer criminals to have the ability to out-gun law-abiding citizens? Under this policy, criminals will still have their 30-round magazines, but the average American will not. Whose side are you on? Lastly, when did they government get into the business of regulating “needs?” This is yet another example of government overreaching and straying from its intended purpose.

    Selling to Criminals

    Mr. President, these are your words: “And finally, Congress needs to help, rather than hinder, law enforcement as it does its job. We should get tougher on people who buy guns with the express purpose of turning around and selling them to criminals. And we should severely punish anybody who helps them do this.” Why don’t we start with Eric Holder and thoroughly investigate the Fast and Furious program? Furthermore, the vast majority of these mass murderers bought their weapons legally and jumped through all the hoops — because they were determined to murder. Adding more hoops and red tape will not stop these types of people. It doesn’t now — so what makes you think it will in the future? Criminals who cannot buy guns legally just resort to the black market. Criminals and murderers will always find a way...

    Mr. President, do the right thing, restore freedom, and save lives. Show the American people that you stand with them and not with thugs and criminals.

CNN's Piers Morgan denied rape survivor Amanda Collins the chance to speak up on his show, assumedly because her story doesn't fit his built-in biases.  Will Piers Morgan have the guts to feature Evan Todd in an interview?  Probably not --for these two reasons: (1) Piers Morgan is constrained by his intellectual superiors, and (2) Evan Todd rules out Piers Morgan's favorite tool of moral bullying which is suggesting or insisting that gun rights supporters don't give a rip about the victims of shootings.  Naturally, Piers and his  kind will always ignore people like Collins and Todd while focusing a bright red verbal spotlight on stories that poor-mouth gun owners/advocates, even if it requires lying.  It is difficult to advocate open-gun ownership conservatism when it comes to firearms, but the pro-gun control forces' seemingly cannot tout their case without false positions, back-flips and outright falsehoods.  We have all seen enough slanderers saying we hate kids unless we want more gun control laws. Was it amazing that the Sandy Hook scenario disfavored long guns by claiming ALL the victims died from the evil-looking so-called assault rifle when the FINAL word was that FOUR HANDGUNS were found inside the school.  Remarkably, the part about police finding the LONG GUN in th back seat of the shooter's transporation got lost in the police taking a SHOTGUN from the trunk of the car that seems to have had ONE SHELL which was ejected?

For several decades, the Democrat Left/Progresives/Socialists have been putting on a skit with themselves as heroes in an ongoing, ever-present even effervescent— civil rights move­ment which found them mostly absent from at the time it occurred.  For ages after invasive, wide-spread, pervasive racial discrimination ended, Democrats kept pretending America was being run by the Ku Klux Klan and that liberals were black America’s sole protectors in a world gone mad with bigotry.   An awakening caused by the O. J. Simpson verdict—the race-based acquittal of a spectacularly and obviously guilty black celebrity as blacks across America erupted in cheers which closed and barred  the white guilt bank of American shame. Fast forward to the present, fewer than two decades later, when our “pos­tracial” president Obama has returned us to the pre-OJ era of nonstop racial posturing, discrimination-behind-every-shrub and tree era.  A less-than-half-black, half-white Democrat, who is not descended from American slaves officially, has brought racial strife back to the future with poorly-concealed glee and mirth. Obama as the candidate allowed liberals and progressives to strut about clothed in self-righteousness about race and elect a hard-core Leftie to the White House simultaneously. In 2008, American voters were told the only way for the nation to evolve from  racial discrimination was to elect Barrack Hussein Obama as president. Some 53 percent of voters fell for it, telephone pole, wires and suspended equipment thereon. Ann Coulter fearlessly explains the real his­tory of race relations in America, including how white liberals re-invent and abridge that history to absolve the guilty, accuse the innocent, and reignite racial hatreds for the sake of dividing and conquering America politically.

    Amazingly, a U.S. congressman and a New York mayor con­spired to protect cop killers who ambushed four police officers in the Rev. Louis Farrakhan Muhammad, Sr.’s mosque. He was born and christened Louis Eugene Wolcott and then Calypso Louie then Louis X husband of Betsy Ross now known as Khadijah Farrakhan and Mother Khadijah.  The incident took place in a Harlem Mosque #7.
At that mosque, April 14, 1972, was one of the darkest days in the NYPD history. Patrolmen Phil Cardillo and Vito Navarra located what police called 28 sector George. The two were the first to respond to a 10‑13 (existing conditions) pertaining to the second floor at 102 West 116 Street in Harlem,New York City.
The officers arrived, entered the building and questioned about 10 muslims at the front desk about the call. Suddenly the muslims shouted “Allah Akhbar”, more muslims came from inside rooms, then the officers were beaten and stomped by numerous black muslims. 
Patrolmen Vic Padilla and Ivan Negron of the 25th pct. arrived, also to be badly beaten and knocked to the floor. Navarra was able to crawl to the front door and outside.  The door was then slammed shut by the muslims. 
According to witnesses, Louis 17X Dupree, who is six foot four and 260 pounds,  took the handle of Cardillo’s gun, ripped it from the holster and fired a round into Cardillo. The police at the front door broke in the door window, and wary of accidentally shooting the fallen policemen inside, fired five shots over the heads of the muslims to dispel the gathering. Padilla, who saw Louis Dupree running with the gun, fired three rounds. Police radioed more 10-13 to garner assistance.

The police broke in the front door while seventeen muslims ran toward the basement. Numerous patrolmen flooded through the door and chased the fleeing muslims down the stairs. The police had apprehended them and ordered them to lean against the wall and began searching them for the missing guns. Cardillo was taken to St. Lukes hospital. Meanwhile, outside the mosque a large crowd of approximately one thousand locals begin to riot, over-turning cars, while bricks materialized from the roofs.

During all this, Deputy Chief Inspector William Knapp arrived and went into the basement and spoke with Inspector John Haugh of the 28th pct Commanding Officer. Insp. Haugh had responded to the 10‑13. He told the police officers to guard the prisoners.
Knapp called Commissioner Pat Murphy and told him of the riot inside and outside the mosque. While Knapp was on the phone he heard shouting.  When he turned around, there was Louis Farrakhan and Charlie Rangel leading a large group of muslims down the basement stairs.  Farrakhan was shouting that the police present must leave the temple. Knapp tells Haugh to relocate outside by the street.
Moments later, the first black Deputy Commissioner Ben Ward arrived, with Farrakhan at his side.  He shouted to the superior officers for the police to immediately leave the mosque. Thus, the crime scene was abandoned before any other names except Louis 17X Dupree.  Farrakhan and Rangel shouted to the superior officers “If you stay, there is nothing we can do to protect you. You’ll be overrun. There’ll be rioting. People may be killed.” Farrakhan and Rangel ‘promised’ that the prisoners would come to the 24th pct. at five o’clock to be questioned. (1)

Does abyone think someone showed up? Phil Cardillo died in the hospital six days later. Mayor John Lindsay and Commissioner Pat Murphy did NOT go to the funeral but the slain officer's wife and baby read the brass memorial. 
A few days after Phil Cardillo was buried, Deputy Commissioner Ben Ward was quoted in the Amsterdam News: "I believe that my investigation has pointed out, at least to my satisfaction, that there were some errors made on the part of the police. For the errors, and for the consequence of those errors, I apologize to minister Farrakhan.(1)

And she shows how the 2012 Obama campaign is going to inspire the greatest racial guilt mongering of all time.

After nearly a century of Republicans crusading for civil rights against Democratic segregationists," liberals chose to come out strongly against race discrimination after the mid-1960s passage of landmark civil rights legislation, using the issue to achieve their own goals. Liberals "couldn't care less about black people," she writes. "All they care about is their own glorious selves and how courageous, forward-thinking, and fair-minded they are." Moreover, liberals (notably academia, the media and Hollywood) are to blame for the race-related incidents and controversies of the period, from riots to hoaxes. Liberals will quite properly turn their noses up at the book, as Coulter turns her nose up at them.

In her signature fashion, Ann Coulter contends that Republicans have been—and still are—the true champions of racial equality in the United States. She argues that it was only after racial equality was achieved in the late 1960s that Democrats decided to take up the cry for equality. This effort, she insists, took the form of race baiting and—for the last 40 years—tricking minority groups into believing that racial issues still exist. As a narrator, Coulter proves intolerable to anyone but her most ardent fans. Though her prose is at times snide and condescending, these qualities are significantly amplified via her narration. Regardless of one’s political point of view, Coulter’s tone and attitude quickly prove wearing. It is a fact that the Democratic Party began as a political party of southern planters who opposed the abolishment of slavery, ideals of the north and the Republican Party. They were the party of power in the 1800's.
The Republican Party was founded by anti-slavery activists in 1854. The party came into power with the election of Lincoln who abolished slavery, provided equal rights to all men in the Civil War and Reconstruction from 1861-1877, welcomed black participation in the party and aided in the establishment of the Freedman's Bureau leading African Americans to vote Republican.
The shift of support began when the government began to strip land from blacks and return it to Confederate Soldiers when they rejoined the Union. African American concerns regarding these practices were ignored when ammendments were passed in favor of southerners. This destroyed the ability of former slaves to self determine their future and provide posterity; there was on effort to educate these newly free people and laws were passed to keep them as close to a slave status as possible.
Another shift of black support began in 1876 when President Elect Rutherford Hayes, who initially supported black rights, struck a deal over a disputed close election with Democrat Samuel Tilden; ending Reconstruction and forming a coalition of segregationists against reforms and ending political safeguards for African Americans after Hayes took office. This led the way to political oppression through Jim Crow Laws that lasted almost a century. From 1867-1932 blacks were subjected to persecution allowed by law, stripped of their civil rights and allowed no economic progress. Republicans were so spineless toward segregationists that this lead to the abandonment of the Republican Party and support of Democrat FDR and though he wasn't a champion for civil rights, he invited African Americans to participate in his administration and challenged state imposed limitations on their civil rights during his third term and favored creation of The Welfare State as in Kick Back, Light Up a Camel, and Get a Welfare Check If You Are NOT Married with Kids...During the Nixon years, the Southern Strategy proved final. In response to what began in the mid 60's regarding Presidents Kennedy and Johnson's supports of civil rights bills, staunch segregationist Democrats like Jesse Helms and Strom Thurmond changed parties to avoid association with Democrats who supported civil rights legislation and the Civil Rights Movement. These new Republicans garnered the white southern vote with fear of black liberties and the south became the new Republican stronghold represented by Juneteenth Speach by Goldwater ushering in Democrats getting most of the Black Vote due to Goldwater's anti-Civil Rights Speech.  Sure enough Goldwater donated Black votes to the Democrats by the millions, anti-slave Republican votes by the millions, and made the Republican Party the Party of Segregationist Losers for 40 years.
Currently, during this presidential race, Romney's statements in Detroit about no one asking to see his birth certificate plays to the birther movement, though Obama repeatedly provides PHONY birth certificate after PHONY birth certificate EVEN BACKED BY pseudo-Republican businessman, Donald TRUMP!  The so-called right wing is unsatisfied. Another example is ads about Obama gutting the welfare work requirement and his stature as THE FOOD STAMP PRESIDENT, earning him the CHAMPION TITLE OF WELFARE PRESIDENT who caters to 4th generation lazy blacks with ONE drivers' license in a family of 6-8 or more and Right Wing Tea Party protesters who noticed that Obama was chided by Venezuala's Tyrant President Hugo Chavez as a WACKED OUT SOCIALIST MANIAC.  No proof is ever good enough for the right wing and it resonates in our DNA. This is why we don't feel warm and fuzzy about Republicans because Socialistic "Republicans" Like Florida's Gov. Scott spend $5 million of their OWN MONEY to fool voters THEN sell Floridians down the river of Obamacare with the 133% over poverty level now to get Medicare nobody can afford.

We daily pray for the Tea Party to field a charasmatic Reaganesque candidate we can VOTE FOR while the Republicans put up a Mr. Milquetoast with baggage that makes VOTERS GAG!
We look to neither party as our savior or protector but we will vote for the best preservation of our interests as a collective so get fooled by rich guys like Florida's Gov. Scott who willingly spend $5 million to fool voters.
