The Left and Progressives fresh out of just causes since 1900 or so, routinely give absolute righteous moral authority to grieving victims to favor their hidden or obvious political agenda.  Their agitprop is often manipulative and exploitive and irrational, but it works.  As appeals to facts and reason are not enough anymore for influencing the general population, persuading the public often incorporates sob stories as emotional appeals.  Following this logic, conservatives must promote people whose personal sad or tragic stories that offer counter-narratives to liberals' tragic sob story parade of victimhood. This open letter to President Obama from a Columbine survivor is a must-read, not only for the points it makes, but because of its author's personal history.


    Mr. President, As a student who was shot and wounded during the Columbine massacre, I have a few thoughts on the current gun debate. In regards to your gun control initiatives: 

    Ban on Military-Style Assault Weapons

    The evidence is very clear pertaining to the inadequacies of the assault weapons ban. It had little to no effect when it was in place from 1994 until 2004. It was during this time that I personally witnessed two fellow students murder twelve of my classmates and one teacher. The assault weapons ban did not deter these two murderers, nor did the other thirty-something laws that they broke. Gun ownership is at an all time high. And although tragedies like Columbine and Newtown are exploited by ideologues and special-interest lobbying groups, crime is at an all time low. The people have spoken. Gun store shelves have been emptied. Gun shows are breaking attendance records. Gun manufacturers are sold out and back ordered. Shortages on ammo and firearms are countrywide. The American people have spoken and are telling you that our Second Amendment shall not be infringed.

    10-Round Limit for Magazines

    Virginia Tech was the site of the deadliest school shooting in U.S. history. Seung-Hui Cho used two of the smallest caliber hand guns manufactured and a handful of ten round magazines. There are no substantial facts that prove that limited magazines would make any difference at all. Second, this is just another law that endangers law-abiding citizens. I’ve heard you ask, “why does someone need 30 bullets to kill a deer?” Let me ask you this: Why would you prefer criminals to have the ability to out-gun law-abiding citizens? Under this policy, criminals will still have their 30-round magazines, but the average American will not. Whose side are you on? Lastly, when did they government get into the business of regulating “needs?” This is yet another example of government overreaching and straying from its intended purpose.

    Selling to Criminals

    Mr. President, these are your words: “And finally, Congress needs to help, rather than hinder, law enforcement as it does its job. We should get tougher on people who buy guns with the express purpose of turning around and selling them to criminals. And we should severely punish anybody who helps them do this.” Why don’t we start with Eric Holder and thoroughly investigate the Fast and Furious program? Furthermore, the vast majority of these mass murderers bought their weapons legally and jumped through all the hoops — because they were determined to murder. Adding more hoops and red tape will not stop these types of people. It doesn’t now — so what makes you think it will in the future? Criminals who cannot buy guns legally just resort to the black market. Criminals and murderers will always find a way...

    Mr. President, do the right thing, restore freedom, and save lives. Show the American people that you stand with them and not with thugs and criminals.

CNN's Piers Morgan denied rape survivor Amanda Collins the chance to speak up on his show, assumedly because her story doesn't fit his built-in biases.  Will Piers Morgan have the guts to feature Evan Todd in an interview?  Probably not --for these two reasons: (1) Piers Morgan is constrained by his intellectual superiors, and (2) Evan Todd rules out Piers Morgan's favorite tool of moral bullying which is suggesting or insisting that gun rights supporters don't give a rip about the victims of shootings.  Naturally, Piers and his  kind will always ignore people like Collins and Todd while focusing a bright red verbal spotlight on stories that poor-mouth gun owners/advocates, even if it requires lying.  It is difficult to advocate open-gun ownership conservatism when it comes to firearms, but the pro-gun control forces' seemingly cannot tout their case without false positions, back-flips and outright falsehoods.  We have all seen enough slanderers saying we hate kids unless we want more gun control laws. Was it amazing that the Sandy Hook scenario disfavored long guns by claiming ALL the victims died from the evil-looking so-called assault rifle when the FINAL word was that FOUR HANDGUNS were found inside the school.  Remarkably, the part about police finding the LONG GUN in th back seat of the shooter's transporation got lost in the police taking a SHOTGUN from the trunk of the car that seems to have had ONE SHELL which was ejected?

For several decades, the Democrat Left/Progresives/Socialists have been putting on a skit with themselves as heroes in an ongoing, ever-present even effervescent— civil rights move­ment which found them mostly absent from at the time it occurred.  For ages after invasive, wide-spread, pervasive racial discrimination ended, Democrats kept pretending America was being run by the Ku Klux Klan and that liberals were black America’s sole protectors in a world gone mad with bigotry.   An awakening caused by the O. J. Simpson verdict—the race-based acquittal of a spectacularly and obviously guilty black celebrity as blacks across America erupted in cheers which closed and barred  the white guilt bank of American shame. Fast forward to the present, fewer than two decades later, when our “pos­tracial” president Obama has returned us to the pre-OJ era of nonstop racial posturing, discrimination-behind-every-shrub and tree era.  A less-than-half-black, half-white Democrat, who is not descended from American slaves officially, has brought racial strife back to the future with poorly-concealed glee and mirth. Obama as the candidate allowed liberals and progressives to strut about clothed in self-righteousness about race and elect a hard-core Leftie to the White House simultaneously. In 2008, American voters were told the only way for the nation to evolve from  racial discrimination was to elect Barrack Hussein Obama as president. Some 53 percent of voters fell for it, telephone pole, wires and suspended equipment thereon. Ann Coulter fearlessly explains the real his­tory of race relations in America, including how white liberals re-invent and abridge that history to absolve the guilty, accuse the innocent, and reignite racial hatreds for the sake of dividing and conquering America politically.

    Amazingly, a U.S. congressman and a New York mayor con­spired to protect cop killers who ambushed four police officers in the Rev. Louis Farrakhan Muhammad, Sr.’s mosque. He was born and christened Louis Eugene Wolcott and then Calypso Louie then Louis X husband of Betsy Ross now known as Khadijah Farrakhan and Mother Khadijah.  The incident took place in a Harlem Mosque #7.
At that mosque, April 14, 1972, was one of the darkest days in the NYPD history. Patrolmen Phil Cardillo and Vito Navarra located what police called 28 sector George. The two were the first to respond to a 10‑13 (existing conditions) pertaining to the second floor at 102 West 116 Street in Harlem,New York City.
The officers arrived, entered the building and questioned about 10 muslims at the front desk about the call. Suddenly the muslims shouted “Allah Akhbar”, more muslims came from inside rooms, then the officers were beaten and stomped by numerous black muslims. 
Patrolmen Vic Padilla and Ivan Negron of the 25th pct. arrived, also to be badly beaten and knocked to the floor. Navarra was able to crawl to the front door and outside.  The door was then slammed shut by the muslims. 
According to witnesses, Louis 17X Dupree, who is six foot four and 260 pounds,  took the handle of Cardillo’s gun, ripped it from the holster and fired a round into Cardillo. The police at the front door broke in the door window, and wary of accidentally shooting the fallen policemen inside, fired five shots over the heads of the muslims to dispel the gathering. Padilla, who saw Louis Dupree running with the gun, fired three rounds. Police radioed more 10-13 to garner assistance.

The police broke in the front door while seventeen muslims ran toward the basement. Numerous patrolmen flooded through the door and chased the fleeing muslims down the stairs. The police had apprehended them and ordered them to lean against the wall and began searching them for the missing guns. Cardillo was taken to St. Lukes hospital. Meanwhile, outside the mosque a large crowd of approximately one thousand locals begin to riot, over-turning cars, while bricks materialized from the roofs.

During all this, Deputy Chief Inspector William Knapp arrived and went into the basement and spoke with Inspector John Haugh of the 28th pct Commanding Officer. Insp. Haugh had responded to the 10‑13. He told the police officers to guard the prisoners.
Knapp called Commissioner Pat Murphy and told him of the riot inside and outside the mosque. While Knapp was on the phone he heard shouting.  When he turned around, there was Louis Farrakhan and Charlie Rangel leading a large group of muslims down the basement stairs.  Farrakhan was shouting that the police present must leave the temple. Knapp tells Haugh to relocate outside by the street.
Moments later, the first black Deputy Commissioner Ben Ward arrived, with Farrakhan at his side.  He shouted to the superior officers for the police to immediately leave the mosque. Thus, the crime scene was abandoned before any other names except Louis 17X Dupree.  Farrakhan and Rangel shouted to the superior officers “If you stay, there is nothing we can do to protect you. You’ll be overrun. There’ll be rioting. People may be killed.” Farrakhan and Rangel ‘promised’ that the prisoners would come to the 24th pct. at five o’clock to be questioned. (1)

Does abyone think someone showed up? Phil Cardillo died in the hospital six days later. Mayor John Lindsay and Commissioner Pat Murphy did NOT go to the funeral but the slain officer's wife and baby read the brass memorial. 
A few days after Phil Cardillo was buried, Deputy Commissioner Ben Ward was quoted in the Amsterdam News: "I believe that my investigation has pointed out, at least to my satisfaction, that there were some errors made on the part of the police. For the errors, and for the consequence of those errors, I apologize to minister Farrakhan.(1)
 
     The entire Democratic elite, up to the Carter White House, coddled a black cult in San Francisco as hun­dreds of the cult members followed Reverend Jim Jones in his “Peoples Temple Christian Church to their deaths in Guyana where they drank the flavored powdered beverage.

    Subway vigilante Bernhard Goetz was surprisingly popular in black neighborhoods, despite hysterical denunciations of him by the New York Times.
    Liberals slander Republicans by endlessly repeating a bizarro-world history in which Democrats defended black America and Republicans appealed to segregationists. The truth has always been exactly the opposite.

Liberals will quite properly turn their noses up at the book, as Coulter turns her nose up at them.

It is a fact that the Democratic Party began as a political party of southern planters who opposed the abolishment of slavery, ideals of the north and the Republican Party. They were the party of power in the 1800's.
The Republican Party was founded by anti-slavery activists in 1854. The party came into power with the election of Lincoln who abolished slavery, provided equal rights to all men in the Civil War and Reconstruction from 1861-1877, welcomed black participation in the party and aided in the establishment of the Freedman's Bureau leading African Americans to vote Republican.
The shift of support began when the government began to strip land from blacks and return it to Confederate Soldiers when they rejoined the Union. African American concerns regarding these practices were ignored when ammendments were passed in favor of southerners. This destroyed the ability of former slaves to self determine their future and provide posterity; there was on effort to educate these newly free people and laws were passed to keep them as close to a slave status as possible.
Another shift of black support began in 1876 when President Elect Rutherford Hayes, who initially supported black rights, struck a deal over a disputed close election with Democrat Samuel Tilden; ending Reconstruction and forming a coalition of segregationists against reforms and ending political safeguards for African Americans after Hayes took office. This led the way to political oppression through Jim Crow Laws that lasted almost a century. From 1867-1932 blacks were subjected to persecution allowed by law, stripped of their civil rights and allowed no economic progress. Republicans were so spineless toward segregationists that this lead to the abandonment of the Republican Party and support of Democrat FDR and though he wasn't a champion for civil rights, he invited African Americans to participate in his administration and challenged state imposed limitations on their civil rights during his third term and favored creation of The Welfare State as in Kick Back, Light Up a Camel, and Get a Welfare Check If You Are NOT Married with Kids...During the Nixon years, the Southern Strategy proved final. In response to what began in the mid 60's regarding Presidents Kennedy and Johnson's supports of civil rights bills, staunch segregationist Democrats like Jesse Helms and Strom Thurmond changed parties to avoid association with Democrats who supported civil rights legislation and the Civil Rights Movement. These new Republicans garnered the white southern vote with fear of black liberties and the south became the new Republican stronghold represented by Juneteenth Speach by Goldwater ushering in Democrats getting most of the Black Vote due to Goldwater's anti-Civil Rights Speech.  Sure enough Goldwater donated Black votes to the Democrats by the millions, anti-slave Republican votes by the millions, and made the Republican Party the Party of Segregationist Losers for 40 years.
Currently, during this presidential race, Romney's statements in Detroit about no one asking to see his birth certificate plays to the birther movement, though Obama repeatedly provides PHONY birth certificate after PHONY birth certificate EVEN BACKED BY pseudo-Republican businessman, Donald TRUMP!  The so-called right wing is unsatisfied. Another example is ads about Obama gutting the welfare work requirement and his stature as THE FOOD STAMP PRESIDENT, earning him the CHAMPION TITLE OF WELFARE PRESIDENT who caters to 4th generation lazy blacks with ONE drivers' license in a family of 6-8 or more and Right Wing Tea Party protesters who noticed that Obama was chided by Venezuala's Tyrant President Hugo Chavez as a WACKED OUT SOCIALIST MANIAC.  No proof is ever good enough for the right wing and it resonates in our DNA. This is why we don't feel warm and fuzzy about Republicans because Socialistic "Republicans" Like Florida's Gov. Scott spend $5 million of their OWN MONEY to fool voters THEN sell Floridians down the river of Obamacare with the 133% over poverty level now to get Medicare nobody can afford.

We daily pray for the Tea Party to field a charasmatic Reaganesque candidate we can VOTE FOR while the Republicans put up a Mr. Milquetoast with baggage that makes VOTERS GAG!
We look to neither party as our savior or protector but we will vote for the best preservation of our interests as a collective so get fooled by rich guys like Florida's Gov. Scott who willingly spend $5 million to fool voters.
